Ash is mainly a trading town, with a few good markets, prodominately dealing with Kahzaran , Pillai, and Hellvetian goods, as well as its own. It has been attacked by rogue riders called the Fists of Havok in 903 and have been the location for strange sightings of large spiders, mysterious elves and an odd bird lady associated with the small forest nearby. The remnants of the Fists of Havok were operating from this forest and instigating Bandit attacks on the local merchants and villages. It would seem they were the source of tales regarding 'Ghost Riders'. The thieves were using an old temple in the forest as their base. A small band of mercenaries managed to rout this band of thieves leaving the forest clear for passing merchants. Near to this location though not in the forest is where Innauden located a shrine where two magical swords were discovered.
