Sidderr Merr

Sidderr is one of the elder family members of the house Merr, and a close aid to Kalia Nesquidarr. He is cousin to Draemarr Merr and consort to Kalia - his home nation is Dalcimeer.
At one time believed to be a guard captain, he has since revealed himself as an able politician, ships captain and (rumours say) spy.
Sidderr was instrumental in the independence of Dalcimeer, and though exact details are vague, it is apparent he had been working behind the scenes for some time to set up the nations declaration of freedom from Nadar. Shortly after this a search for Lord Sidderr was underway as he went missing. Rumours abounded at the Dalcimeer courts, but considering Sidderr's prominent position in the declaration of the Independent Republic most of them speak of foul play. Dalcimeer made no official comment. He did later return but where he had been inbetween time no-one was telling.
After (or maybe because of his disappearance) Sidderr was branded as a traitor by the King of Nadar - Myloch, though the relationship between the two is currently unknown as it apparent the King has accepted some aid from the elven scout master. The Bounty for Sidderr, as far as anyone is aware, is still active.
Rumours also abound as to his connections to the world's pirates. It seems they treat him with, at least, respect. How he managed to garner such a response has kept people guessing. Most believe great bribes from the Elven coffers were given, those more sympathetic say it is down to his diplomatic prowess. Having an Elven nation with potential close ties with the brigands of the sea can only cause more frictions with other nations.
