Tempress Trade Meeting
From Twilight Realms Wiki
This was the first ever meeting after some of the Countries emerged from their self imposed exile in the year 902. Organised by the elves of Dalcimeer and Nadar. The event was relatively peaceful whereby initial trade talks and friendships were established. This was where the Elves first met the Emperor of Pillai where he invited the elves to visit his Country and see his elephants.
Many delegates were there, from many nations. Representatives from all the known elven nations, including the Wild Elves, Pillai, Equil, Chevel and Helvettia came for Trade discussions. It would seem that there was tensions between the elven nations that involved political wrangling behind closed doors. There was also tension between the nations of Dalcimeer and Equil over the arrest of the Dalcimmer diplomat Sisko Opet. Despite this trade did occur either in secret deals or open discussion. An example was the Pillai first ordered their ships, apparently not having a navy of their own, from the Chevellians.
One incident that occurred that could have caused political tension was the theft of a book belonging to one of the Delegates of Dalcimeer. The theft was being linked a mysterious person within Kahzara. An official statement after the event stated that "...this matter is currently under investigation, but I must state that the fact that the theft was conducted by a non Kahzarian Citizen, who also did not belong to the Guild of Procurers, makes me initially state that it was not done by any Kahzarian Citizen. The Guilds within Kahzara have very strong rules, the foremost being that only people who belong to that guild may do that job. Therefore, only a member of the Guild of Procurers could take that item. It would also be unlawful to hire a non member, or sub- contact a non member, to do that job. As I have stated, I currently have the Guild Master investigating the matter, and I will report, openly, when the investigation has been completed.
