History

Anglan, sometimes referred to as Angalen, was a military based country on the Western Coast of the mainland, bordering The Wild Lands in the north and Helvettia, Dalcimeer and Pillai. They maintained heavy defences and patrols to ensure that the wild north did not pose risks to their people. However, in 2999 a cataclysmic event occurred in the Anglan capital, sucking the country into The Void.

Little is known of what occurred to create this event and the people of Anglan were believed dead for centuries. Rumors spread throughout the known land that individuals from Anglan had reappeared through Ritual Portals and Arcane Gates.

In 3316 Prince Thayne travelled through a void gate alongside a group of his men, confirming that Anglan existed still and was locked in a mortal battle against Demons and Reapers that occupy The Void. He claims that it was reckelss behaviour with a Genai Stone which caused Anglan to be torn form the mainland.

Culture

The Anglan people have been locked in a mortal battle with demons and other dark entities since being sucked into The Void. As such, their army is hardened, tough and stretched thin - made up of veterans. Even the young and common people have grown up around the constant fighting.

Religion

The Anglan people are strong worshippers of the goddess, Tempress. After Anglan was sucked into the void, they turned against all Arcane magic.

Look and Feel

Knights of Anglan wear chainmail, plate armour and tabards in the Anglan colours of red and black.

The general populace wear simple clothing that is worn and heavily used or repaired.
