Avitus

• Name: Avitus Gall Thracius
• Race: Human
• Homeland: Helvettia
• Avitus is a career soldier in the Helvettian army serving for many years against the Orcs of the Wild Lands. While on leave in the captial he was assigned escort duty for a Senator attending a diplomatic function in the south. This function took a turn for the worse, but it was recognised by command that Avitus played a significant part in the resolution of it and was assigned further duties involving contact with other countries.

• After Hydra legion captured the Orc King, Avitus was one of the Lupis Legion soldiers who escorted the prisoner to his trial and execution.

• Over his career Avitus has also had several encounters with an ancient Vampire named Segaris. Avitus believed Segaris to be behind the rise of the Vampire take over of Brindle, which in turn lead to his recommendation that Helvettia bring its full military might to bring Brindle to heel and destroy the vampires.

• Later Avitus was reassigned back to the northern borders when his ideas became unpopular in the capital and his popularity was starting to gain too much attention.
