Cel Maidoc (Titus)

From Into the Wilds Wiki

  • Name: Cel Maidoc (Titus)
  • Race: Human
  • Homeland: Chevel (Horse-tribes)
  • Born amongst the horse-clans of Chevel, Cel learned to ride as soon as he was able, and adopted the spear and round shield commonly favoured by the riders of his homeland. As he grew older, Cel began to push back against the established matriarchy of the tribe and longed to forge his own path - one that would eventually lead him to leave his tribe and travel to Helvettia. He took the name Titus, and found himself involved in Helvettia’s gladatorial arenas. Attempting to hide his heritage; he ditched his old kit in favour of more Helvettian gear from his employer’s stores, which included a shield bearing the monicker of “Lupis XIII”, the origin and history of which is still completely unknown to him. After being traded between several domini, he found himself in the employ of a Helvettian aristocrat named Julia Sila. Once again under the thumb of an oppressive matriarch, it was only so long before Cel found his gladius in her back, and his feet in the stirrups of her fastest horse riding from Helvettia with haste. He eventually found asylum with the elves of Dalcimeer, and served the Vizier as part of her security detail. When a group of adventurers arrived in the court seeking the Court’s help, Cel offered to go with the party, to support them in their quest, as well as provide eyes and ears on behalf of the Vizier as repayment for her hospitality.
