A band gathers in The Hung Goat and meets the tiefling women, Anatolia. Leaving town, the group encounter a man shouting about lies and Olive confronts him briefly before he runs off north. Continuing along Myloch’s Way, the group head towards the hut where they've previously encountered snake people. Here they found an ettin who had been sent to arrest the people who murdered the giant in the mountains to the north. The group killed the ettin and headed on. Within the complex beneath The Snake Hut, the party find more snake folk clearing the place out and engage in a difficult combat. One of the snakes escapes, but badly hurt and exhausted, the party is forced to return to town. The group return with a golden book taken from the snake shrine which kills the vegetation near it as the group travels back. The party buries the book outside of town.
