Berticus

Paladin of Garr, Divine Soul, Champion of Myste Hass, Defender of the weak

Berticus was born on the mainland in Equil, he was orphaned and a young age but was taken in by a Priest of a Garr who brought Berticus up in the priesthood. It became apparent that Berticus was strong and capable at combat so he trained hard and became a Paladin of Garr. Berticus travelled to Myste Hass with his mentor who fell ill on the journey over and was taken to Garrs loving embrace.

Berticus became leader of the Church of Garr in Myst Hass when it’s former high priest was murdered by a vampire. Berticus is currently doing what he can to support the settlement but generally feels alone and unwelcome by the people he is trying to help.

After being part of the group who rescued Sten and placed him back in charge of Myste-Hass, this adventure placed Berticus at odds with Adarnath Cross for a 2nd time. Berticus became concerned that their next encounter would lead to his death. That night while Berticus slept he was blessed by vivid dreams sent by Garr where he was a wielding arcane magic against his enemies. Berticus woke the following day with new knowledge and abilities. He had been chosen by Garr to be a Divine Soul and had the power of sorcery to command.
