Gleson

Gleson is an old sea-dog encountered in The Dregs. He has had a somewhat calamitous career as a sailor, having lost a broad range of body parts through various accidents and misadventures.

He shares a tale of a mighty siren that waylays ships seeking to travel inland up the estuary along the southern coast of the continent. His account tells of a forest of masts that can be seen below the surface.

While he aspires to save enough coin to pay to have his body restored at a temple, Gleson expresses interest in serving under Crassus Hlaalu as a member of the Dead Man's Raft's crew. In order to secure his loyalty, Crassus takes him to the temple of Alaie to be restored.
