Klay

Klay was a champion fighter from Helvettia. He traveled to Myste-Hass on a tour, brought in as the headlining act for The Arena.

At this time, The Hurricane was becoming an established name at The Arena with a number of other adventurers. They were fighting regularly and earning reknown.

Cao went to The Arena to watch Klay's main bout, and was horrified to see that the fighter's signature move involved stabbing any fallen opponents twice with his twin weapons.

Eventually, Hurricane's group of adventurers did a little digging on the fighter and discover that his violent nature stretched beyond arena fighting, and he was known for being physically abusive to women. A prostitute who'd been hired from The Weary Sailor had been paid to keep quiet about her brutal treatment.

When Florenzo and Hurricane get caught out for spying, a confrontation begins in the street. Lei Wong is killed by Klay's signature move, but the rest of the adventurers are able to defeat their opponent together. Hurricane took Klay's swords - Sword of Many Cuts and Pain.

Later, a new headline act is advertised for The Arena, "The Reaper". In a bout against Nazzak, "The Reaper" was revealed to be undead Klay brought back . Klay takes Nazzak down and Lorey runs into The Arena, but is stabbed to death. The other adventurers are forced to intervene, and apprehend Klay.

After this, Maolmhuire took Klay's body for examination and resurrected him once more, using him to guard his workshop at the Temple of the People. Klay was left in the catacombs during the Sack of Myste-Hass.

During Operation Marshmallow, the group attempted to enter the vaults beneath the Temple of the People. However, Klay would not let them pass and the group was forced to retreat.
